This sweater was purchased for my Beagle-doxie mix. His coat is rather thin, especially around his stomach, so I was hoping to find something medium-weight for our chilly winter days in Georgia. (For exceptionally cold weather, he wears a thicker coat!) This sweater fits him well! It doesn't have long legs, which are usually too long for his rather short legs, but it does cover his stomach. He's really long and thin, therefore it's difficult to fit him. I purchased a size large of this. His measures are 13" in the neck, 18" in the back, and 20" in the chest. The sweater is easy to put on and take off, yet it's not loose. It's soft and elastic. Since we don't use a harness that fastens at the back, I might sew the opening in the back closed. The sweater is beautifully crafted and has a lovely appearance. All in all, Cody and I are quite happy!
